Mr G was one of my favorite teachers at Salpointe, and I still recall his unparalleled sense of humor and his booming "Moving right along..." I'll always remember you fondly, Mr. G. One of a kind!

R.I.P. Leo. I've known Leo and his family since I was a kid. Thanks to Leo I got exposure to sports, hobbies, activities that I probably would't have otherwise. I even had Leo as a substitute teacher at LTHS. Thanks for everything Coach.

Thank you Coach Leo for all the years of happiness you and your Ice Cats brought to Tucson. We were so happy when the kids got real uniforms to wear. Although we never minded the jeans. Your love for the game, players and fans never went unnoticed! Thank you!!! RIP COACH

My husband and I just recently returned to UofA Ice Hockey this season and talked about all the great games watching Coach Leo´s teams. Although we never met him we are both Salpointe Alumni and spent many weekends at Icecat Hockey and he will always have a place in our hearts! Rest in peace Coach and our condolences to the family.

Growing up on 45th Place in Lyons illinois us kids all knew who Leo was and would love to hear his stories of playing hockey. When I moved to Tucson in 1996 my goal was to get to see the hockey team he brought to the desert. I only got to a few games but I was very proud to say "I knew him back in Lyons" even if it was only as someone to look up to growing up. Unfortunately I never got to tell him personally but I always felt that he brought our little town to Arizona. Rest peacefully Leo and my condolences to his friends and family.
