Leslie Swindle Obituary

Leslie Randall Swindle was born February 3, 1955 in Macon County, Tennessee to the late Grethel C. Swindle and Mary Louise Dyer Swindle. He was one of five siblings born to this union.

Besides his parents; one infant brother, Barry Swindle also preceded Leslie in death.

On Wednesday morning, January 29, 2014 at the age of 58, the Lord called Leslie to his new home. He had told about being saved at New Zion Church when he was a teenager. Leslie enjoyed visiting different churches and loved listening to gospel music.

He married Judy Faye Robinson on August 11, 1972, starting a life together that would last for forty-one years. They have three sons, Chad, Kevin, and Craig that were his pride and joy.

Leslie had a Body Shop where he enjoyed repairing vehicles and restoring antique cars.

He had done a lot of work for the local area. Muscle cars were one of his favorites to work on.

Leslie enjoyed camping and spending time with his family and friends.

If you know Leslie, you knew he was a big-hearted and caring person, that everyone enjoyed being around.

His family will greatly miss him, but our loss is Heaven's gain.

Funeral services for Leslie Swindle were conducted Saturday at 1 pm from the Alexander Funeral Home. Tim Hood and Jerry Wilson served as Honorary Pallbearers. Tim Qualls, Henry Swindle, Max Mayhew, Dole Pruitt, and Randy Carter served as Active Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.

Leslie is survived by; Wife, Judy Robinson Swindle, Sons, Chad (Sherry) Swindle, Kevin (Lindsey) Swindle all of Lafayette, TN, Craig Swindle of Scottsville, KY, Grandchildren, Megan (Brad) Nichols, Dylan Swindle, Step-Great-Grandson, Landon Nichols, Brothers, Dennis (Joyce) Swindle and Elmore Swindle, Sister, Donna (Mitchell) Carter all of Lafayette, TN, several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
