Lori Bagley Obituary

Lori Bagley 12/11/1970 - 10/18/2012 passed away after a courageous battle against cancer. She loved her work at Walgreens Pharmacy among wonderful friends. She enjoyed playing Bingo with her mom, and she was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, never losing hope that they would eventually win. Lori is survived by her mother, Lorraine Ryan; sister, Tony Rainey (Eric) of Reno, NV; her brother, Vince Carrocci of Phoenix and nephews, Matthew and Noah Rainey of Reno. She also leaves her Uncles, John and Albert Kling and Aunt, Nan Schubel. She was predeceased by her father, Hilton Bagley and her Granny, Madge Kling. Some of her favorite memories include how nephew Matthew couldn't say her name so he called her Aunt Loodie. It just happened that was also what he called lizards. The name stuck. Then there was the time when she was two years old that her Uncle John took her for a ride on his motorcycle. Her father was not amused—to say the least--but she loved it. And of course there was game seven of the 2001 World Series—she loved seeing her Aunt Nan cry when the Diamondbacks beat her New York Yankees. We were there. Lori loved rock concerts, and on September 12 she attended the Poison/Def Leppard Rock of Ages concert with Martha and Jeff Cherinko. She caught a pick thrown from the stage, fighting off a bruiser who was trying to steal it from her. She was in her element when she won enough at the Black Jack table to pay for the concert tickets and tee shirts for all of them. For a life too quickly taken, you may make donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society. No Funeral Services are planned. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.

I went to school with Lori for many years and she was always the nicest girl. She had a great, dry sense of humor that she kept under wraps most of the time. A genuinely good person, and she will be missed.

Often, when I made a trip to Walgreens, Lori would be there, calm, smiling, always ready to help. She fought cancer so courageously and even worked during some of the roughest times. Lately, she seemed to be recovering, so it was with great shock and sadness that I saw her obituary. My husband and I would like to express our condolences to Lori's family and her colleagues as well. May her memory bring you comfort. We will miss her.
