Mary Ellen Beaman

Mary Ellen Beaman was born June 16, 1922 in St. Louis, MO. and departed this earth with a clap of thunder on September 8, 2008 in Oracle, AZ. Mary was a thirty-two year resident of Oracle and was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years Orris (Red) Beaman and she is survived by her partner of sixteen years Robert Calhoon; sons, Richard (Susan) and James (Jan); sisters, CC and Rilla; brother, Scott, ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren the last of which entered the world as she went out. Mary was an avid player of games and delighted in spending hours with her grandchildren teaching and playing, she also loved to travel. She was a member of the Arizona Old Time Fiddlers and the Arizona Retreads a travel club. Services will be at 10:00 A.M. September 17, 2008 at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOME - AVALON CHAPEL with internment in Oracle after the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
