Happily, I enjoyed witnessing Mel having dinner with an amazing healer, a dear speaker or a messenger of hope in health at his table in Tucson in the 90's. So grateful for Mel & Enid's efforts at making health a priority in American life.

My memory of the Mel Zuckerman came through the University of Arizona Arthritis Center in the '90's. Mr. and Mrs. Zuckerman were the most wonderful people. Generous, thoughtful and inspiring. To give and help people change and improve their lives is a magical gift. They both had it. My condolences to the Zuckerman family at your loss. B. Seashore

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mel Zuckerman.
My dad (Larry Ramer) always told me that Mel was his oldest friend-- as they grew up and went to school together back in Hackensack N.J. They remained friends through the decades and I was fortunate to visit Canyon Ranch (in the earlier years..) and got to see both Mel and Enid there a number of times.
I have fond memories of them both ( as well as memories of Amy from summer camp when we were kids).
My deepest condolences to Enid and all the Zuckerman family..
With love,
Stephanie Ramer

I knew Mr. Zuckerman essentially for my entire life. I remember him from his land development days, when I was just a little girl. He always treated me with kindness. He cared about issues. I clearly remember visiting with him and Enid on the day of the Sandy Hook shooting; he cried openly for the loss of innocents. He was a person who changed the face of his field of industry, but more so was serious about leaving a legacy that made the world a better place. He actually cared about the big picture, and not just his corner of it. His vision and generosity were unsurpassed. The community has suffered a great loss; I will always remember him with gratitude and fondness. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Dear Enid and family, I will always remember the love and kindness Mel showed to me and my beloved Abe. Abe died 6 years ago at 90+ and I still miss him every day. We both loved CR in Lenox and have many fond memories of the Ranch and both of you! My guess is they have met upstairs and are already working out together. Much love, Miriam

Mel was an innovative , dynamic and thoughtful man who created a new industry and new way of life for millions around the world. He and Enid loved the new way of life they helped create and then dedicated their lives creating a healthier world through their philanthropy. I have been honored to know and learn from Mel. He stimulated so many he knew and will always be remembered with gratitude and fondness by all who were fortunate to be touched by him.
