Mildred Lee WHITE

WHITE, Mildred Lee of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2018. Millie was born in Richwood, West Virginia July 1, 1920 to Harry and Blanche Comstock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, John White. They moved their family to Tucson in 1961 where she worked in retail sales at Levy's and The College Shop. She loved fashion and designed some of her own clothes. Her other talents included quilting, gardening, and baking homemade bread. She had a passion for antiques, filling the family home with her many collections. Everyone looked forward to her one-of-a-kind Christmas trees, artfully assembled with found treasures, often expressing her sense of humor. Millie is survived by her devoted children, Cassandra Prescott, Rebekah Chapman (Stephen), Annie Andre (William), William White; four grandchildren, Nandra Hotchkiss (DJ Tramp), David Hotchkiss, Marvin Chapman (Kris), Randy Chapman; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
