Milton TRIPP Obituary

TRIPP, Milton James "Jim" age 93, passed away February 18, 2018. He was born April 25, 1924 in Dearborn Heights, Michigan to George and Gladys Tripp. He married Marie Landuyt in 1975. Marie passed away November 7, 2014. In addition to his wife, Jim was preceded in death by his son, Harold Kroeger, parents, and sister, Virginia. Jim retired from the City of Detroit, Public Lighting Department and relocated to Tucson. He became a Board Member of Metro Water District and founder of the James M. Tripp Reservoir. He was involved with the Homeowners Association as Chairman of the Landscape Committee and was responsible for overseeing the crews. Jim was a member of the American Legion, IBEW Local #17, and The American Heart Association. He is survived by grandchildren, Libby and Rick Hubbard, Lori Frisk and Randy Roebuck, Alan Kroeger and Rachel Hill; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, and good friend, Irene Pieknik. Jim and Marie's ashes will be laid to rest with their son in a private family service. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements by DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME.
