Oscar Chavarria Obituary

CHAVARRIA, Oscar, our beloved father born on June 21, 1941 in Tucson, AZ, at the age of 67 left us to be with the Lord on July 13, 2008. Preceded in death, son Oscar Chavarria II, mother, Rosa Chavarria, brothers, Paul and Frank. He is survived by daughter, Margarita and son-in-law, David Martinez; son, Oscar Castillo and daughter-in-law, Eileene; daughter and son, Roxanne and Dominic Silva; son, Oscar; sisters, Mary Helen Hernandez, Delfina Valdez; brother, Alex Rodriquez and eight grandchildren, Tanya (Abel), Sonya (Hector) Andreinna and Gabriel, Stefan, Angel, Xavier, Oscar Jr. and six great grandchildren and many other family and friends that love him and will miss him truly. He was the best Roofer in town!!! We Love you and will miss you Dad, Brother, Tata, Uncle our Friend. Funeral services will be Sunday July 20, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS. Arrangements entrusted to MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS. 2580 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ.

Oh Daddy,my heart hurts so much, I just want you to hug me and tell me "I love baby" again.I know you have no more pain and you are in a better place,Thanks for all the memeries and love you had for me Dad.Till we meet again. Love you Daddy! I will try to be strong like you always told me to be.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
