Patrick Francis Quinn, 64, of Tucson, AZ passed away on March 2, 2025. Born on August 2, 1960 in Minneapolis, MN, and raised in Edina, MN, Patrick was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and firefighter of the Tucson Fire Department. He dedicated his life to his service to the community, to his family, and to his faith. Patrick was an avid outdoorsman, spending his time hiking, hunting, and fishing. Patrick was known for his bravery, integrity, and leadership. He is survived by his wife Susan, his son Nicholas (m. Leah), his granddaughter Meadow, his son Daniel (m. Anna), three brothers; James, Daniel (m. Nancy J.), and John; three sisters; Mary Jo (m. Scott), Nancy A., and twin Kathleen; as well as many nieces, nephews, and beloved extended family. Patrick was predeceased by his father Joseph and mother Mary Quinn. A funeral will be held on March 17, 2025, in Tucson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. We want to give special thanks to the Givens Brain Tumor Center of Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, and to the Tucson Medical Center Hospice Peppi's House for the incredible care their teams provided. Patrick will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May his memory be a blessing, and his legacy of love, kindness, and warmth will forever be remembered.

When I first moved to tucson, I was 22 years old, 3 months later my rental burned to the ground and Patrick showed up to find out what I knew which was nothing because I was out of state at the time, and a few days later, he came to my new place and brought me McDonald's, such a sweet and kind, caring individual!
This world needs more people like him and it breaks my heart that he passed away this has been over 30 years now

Pat, your were a force to be reckoned with. You were bigger than life with you booming voice and a heart bigger than the outdoors you loved so much. We go back a long ways, and yet I can remember every conversation and every(not so amazing) cigar. I love you brother and I pray for your family every day. Until we meet again. I love you.

From the first time we ever spoke on telemetry and you became Radio voice and all of the other times we talked about Scouts, our sons (both are named Nicholas) and the many times that you talked me out of a panic attack, I will be forever grateful for your friendship. It was a long time ago, but the memories still live on. Condolences to the family. Trouble (his name for me)

I was one of Pat´s Training Captains when he joined Tucson Fire in 1985. We became close friends since then and together, we enjoyed life and laughing at each other´s stories. Pat was a loyal friend and a brave firefighter. Condolences to Sue, his family, and friends and he will be missed by many. RIP my friend.

Pat and I became friends about twenty years ago in Tucson. Our Minnesota roots bonded us and began a special relationship.
My condolences to Susan and Nick and Dan and their families. Pat loved them so much and was thrilled to meet his grandson.
Pat always made any gathering more meaningful and fun. He put 100% into everything he did.
He is now in the arms of the angels. Rest in Peace Pat.

I´ll always remember Pat as one of those big, good natured TFD firefighters who brightened the UMC ER with their ready smiles and quick wits back then. Bonhomie and camaraderie, free for the offering. Fair skies and following winds.
