Ramon Olivas Obituary

Ramon B. Olivas (Chorizo) 77, of Tucson, AZ went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2007. Survived by his loving wife, Bertha; daughter, Bernice; grandchildren, Dilorian, Cesar and Destiny; sisters and brothers, Josephine (Juan) Guillen, Nellie Pineda, Alicia Palacio, Connie Rubio, Cecilia (Bert) Rios, Jerry (Hein) and Tony Olivas. And many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Modesto and Benigna Olivas and sister, Helen Gonzales. Ramon will be missed dearly but he is in our prayers forever. He worked for the City of Tucson for 37 years, for heavy equipment operator. Proud to have served in the Army and 23 years in the Navy. Visitation will be at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS on Friday, September 14, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with a Rosary at 8:30 a.m. Mass will follow at St. Monica Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Funeral services entrusted to MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS, 2580 S 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ 85713.

Bernice, sorry to hear about your dad, Just remember that he's in a better place and he was always such a good Dad I know cause I usto always be at your house and I always usto wish my Dad was still alive when I usto see how he was always there for you, but just thank God for the time that you did have him and be there for your Mom she's gonna really need you by her side take care and may God bless you and your family.
