TIA RITA THINKING OF YOU...

December 18, 2013

Hi momma, Thanksgiving has come and gone and Christmas is now right around the corner. I can't believe how time is passing us by. You and mom were right when you would say that the older you got the faster the years would pass. You weren't kidding! I just wanted to say that I really miss you momma as well as my mom. Although I know you're both with us in spirit it's hard knowing that I can't give you both a big kiss and hug in person. I am so THANKFUL the Good Lord Blessed me with such a terrific grandmother and mother. I'm also thankful for the time He allowed you both to be with all of us.

Love you un chingo! XOXOXO
Lisita

Hi Grandma Rita,
Sorry I haven't written sooner but it's been a little hard for me to think of you and mom lately. When mom left us I was okay because I knew you were still here with us. I shouldn't have taken that so lightly. I've been dealing with my own feelings of disappoinment in myself and regret that I did not make the time to spend more time with you. Although in my mind it was comforting knowwing you were here it still hurt my heart to be around you becuase it made me miss my mom and I didn't know how you were doing it as well as you were for losing two of your children so close together. You are my hero and to me you are the strongest women I know. I see where my mom got her strength. Your religious strength was so strong too just like mom's. I am so proud of both of you. I miss you both so much. I know you're looking out for all of us but I miss your rose scented lotion and watching you eat with your small front teeth. I really miss your smile! Thank you so much Grandma for all you did for me, my sisters, my children and grand-children. I hope I can be the best grandma I can be to my grandkids like you were to all yours. I'm going to close for now. I have to get back to work. I just wanted to say I love you!

Lisita!
