I will always remember
Mr.Svob -- he was so kind and thoughtful to all of our family, from the time when we were very small to the time when mother became a widow and he helped her get a job at the university. Our children still have the beautiful doll bed he made for me and their children have enjoyed it also.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the large extended family of Bob Svob, especially to classmates and friends Bob Jr and Helen. I have many memories in the early sixties seeing Bob Svob walking around on campus and at the games. He had a remarkable life at the UA as a student, athlete, followed by a long career in UA athletics and administration. He must have been very proud of his family and his family can be proud of him.

I had the privilege of working with Bob as one of his assistants in the Dean of Students office at The University of Arizona. A finer man never walked this earth, humble, compassionate, a willingness to serve others. He and Shirley were salt of the earth people, always thinking of the welfare of others. I owe an awful lot to Bob, he tucked me under his wing in many ways and encouraged me to be the man I am today. To the family our sincere condolences. your dad, grandfather and great grand dad was truly a one of a kind. May God Bless each of you. Kevin and Sande Leman.....We regret not being able to attend Saturday.

I remember Mr.Svob fondly. When I was a child the Svobs lived near us, and my parents, my siblings and I enjoyed their friendship. Mr. Svob made a beautiful doll bed for me which I cherished, passed on to my daughter, who also passed it on to her daughter. When my father died Mr.Svob helped my mother get a job at the U of A. He was a great man, and I send sincere condolences to his family.
