Roger LEON Obituary

A music lover, Rog was a self-taught musician playing several instruments. In earlier days he and friends had a rock band playing at various venues. He loved basketball and was a coach at his daughter's high school. He considered the Christian music ministry he and ex-wife had his greatest achievement. Popular Christian singers were brought to Tucson for concerts. These concerts brought hundreds of young and old people to accept the Lord as their personal Saviour. In his last months Rog was happy to be leading a bible study group. Surviving are dearly loved daughter, Veronica; granddaughters, Vanessa and Mikaela,ex-wife Michelle, sister and nieces Irma, Cheri, and Jacki. Mom Alice Young Cordova died in 2011. Also surviving are many cousins and Aunt Lilly Young Figueroa. Rest in Peace Roger (Rogie) Leon.
