Ron ANDERSON Obituary

ANDERSON, Ron 74, of Tucson, AZ died September 10, 2017 after a long battle with ALS and Parkinson's disease. He is survived by his wife, Greta (Knope); daughter, Melissa (husband, JJ and their son, Seth); son, Erik (wife, Miquela and their daughter, Charlotte). Before his illness, Ron was CFO for the Jim Click automotive team for 22 years. Ron was born in Chicago, graduated from the University of Iowa and spent four years in the Air Force. He was an avid golfer and loved anything to do with racing. Racing his kart with friends at Musselmann Honda Circuit was one of Ron's favorite activities. Ron was known for his integrity and honesty and will be missed by all who were privileged to know him. A Memorial Service will be held at Adair Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave., Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.

Ron was my best and loyal friend when we were back kids. We played basketball baseball and football every afternoon after school. We also raced motor boats and attended sports car races. Ron was truly a good friend and person.
