Ronnie Walker Obituary

WALKER, Ronnie Lee, daughter of Kathryn and H. Stanley Walker of Oro Valley, died April 29, 2006. She was born in Orange, New Jersey October 14, 1955. In addition to her parents she is survived by a brother, Mark S. Walker and his wife, Eileen of Portsmouth, Virginia; nephews, Michael and Derek Walker of Tomball, Texas and Patrick Walker of Portsmouth, Virginia; a niece, Heather Warren of Norfolk, Virginia and three grandnieces and one grand nephew all of Tomball, Texas. She was raised in Livingston, New Jersey and was graduated from Livingston High School. She was a graduate of Green Mountain College in Vermont and Skidmore College in New York. During her career she worked as a neuro intensive care nurse at South Carolina University Medical Center, Beth Israel Hospital in Newark, New Jersey, Mass General Hospital in Boston, King Faisal Hospital in Saudi Arabia, Tucson Medical Center and Tucson General Hospital and North West Medical Center in Tucson. She also served as research coordinator at MIT in Boston. Services will be private. Donations may be made in Ronnie's name to The National Alliance on Mental Illness, 2210 North 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85006.

IT WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH RONNIE AT NWMC. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HER ABILITY TO MAKE PATIENTS AND CO-WORKERS SMILE. SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.
