My sincere condolences. Mr. Solot surely is legendary and will be missed. He was the Father of Real Estate Appraisal. I think my first course with Mr. Solot was in the early 80's and then he urged me to continue after I obtained a degree from the UofA. Such a soft spoken, gentle and knowledgeable man. Blessings to him and his loved ones.

Our sincere and deepest condolences from George Cisneros and Family. I'll always remember how kindly he and all his family treated my mom, Victoria Valenzuela.

I studied Real Estate Appraisal from Sonny in 2005. Steve Cole assisted in the classes. It became apparent that when the time came Sonny was passing the torch to Mr. Cole. He was and remains an inspiration to the Tucson real estate and business community. You have some very big shoes to fill Mr. Cole.

Sonny was a professor of mine at U of A in the Masters of Finance in RE (many years ago). I consider him a mentor who influenced my decision to launch a career in real estate. One of the true good guys in Tucson real estate. He'll be missed.

What a guy! What a great family, too.
Always upbeat, always happy, always caring, always gracious, always in the present.
You were always a joy to have around; you always had great stories.
You had a terrific life and I am so glad Ito have played a small role in it over the years.
Prayers to the family.
RIP!

One of the great professionals in the Arizona real estate business community . Sonny Solot was a trusted and extraordinary member of our industry. I first met him when he was "Mr.Solot" who carpooled Steve and I to swim meets. Later he was one of my favorite and most entertaining college professors at the University of Arizona. When I started in the industry he continued to be a mentor and a trusted advisor to our family office business. In later years Sonny was a consulting appraiser for Bank of Tucson. There was no better in the business than Sonny Solot. His wisdom , and warm smile and humor will be missed. His life was for a blessing.
