Soila CELAYA

CELAYA, Soila 5/20/1936 - 3/30/2018 Soila B. Gracia Celaya passed away on March 30, 2018 at 81 years old. She is survived by her children, Armando Jr. (Victoria), Rebecca, Leonel (Annette) and Anissa (Martin); her 11 adoring grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and her sister, Gloria and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She loved us all so much but her heart was called to join the love of her life, Armando her husband of 60 years, and her beloved son, Rene who preceded her in death in 2016. She lived her adult life as a military wife and mother and traveled the world. She was a teacher while living overseas. She had a long career in Tucson as a credit professional. She contributed to many professional organizations, her church, and her beloved Club Duette, of which she was an active member since 1955. Mom, we were so blessed to have you as long as we did. Your loving way of making us all feel so special and important will be cherished forever. You were always an example of selflessness and devotion to faith. Always generous and honest, you were our protector, our most loving supporter, our collective conscience. Your extraordinary intuition was remarkable. You were our angel here on earth. You are our guardian angel now. Our heartbreak is eased to know you are now with your loving husband, your son and your parents and brothers that you held so dear. We will miss you so. Visitation will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel) 240 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Tuesday, April 10, 2018, 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
