Susan Evenchik Obituary

Susan Evenchik "Susie"
77 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her daughters and dear friends and caregivers on Thursday evening, March 26, 2015 after a long, admirable and courageous battle with Gaucher's Disease. Susie was born February 24, 1938 in Albany, New York. Susie graduated from Heights High in Cleveland Ohio and attended Ohio State University. She was proceeded in death by her brother, Sandy and her loving and devoted husband of 48 years Bernard "Bernie" Evenchik. She is survived by her daughters, Kim Evenchik and her husband Wil Taylor. And her daughter, Michelle Baker, her husband Jeff and grandsons, Cam and Andy in Ft. Collins CO. Susie was also blessed to have dear friends she considered family (Eloise Victor, Kathy Warren and David Weiss, to name a few.) As well as a loving team of caregivers. She was a great enthusiast of the arts, travel, literature, photography, music, and during her healthier years fast sports cars. A Celebration of Life will be held at a time still to be determined. We all miss you deeply Mom/Susie and envision you dancing in an endless field of Tulips, or perhaps driving a Jaguar XKE way too fast. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel.
