May you find assurance in your memories. Sylvia always laughed, smiled, and shared her life stories during my visits at Fry's. She entrusted her life to the Lord whom I know is taking care of her. Many Blessings to you all. I'll always smile when I think of you my friend. Until we meet again. Love and Light.

I just herd today of Sylvia's passing, as I was at Fry's shopping. I was very sad to hear...I've been shopping at this location for 17 years. Sylvia was one of the "nice ladies" I looked forward to chatting with through the check-out line. She gave me a lot of her kind words, and always asked how I was doing. I will miss her on my visits to the store. Thank you for sharing your wife, mother, and grandmother with me. May you find Peace in Christ.

Our condolences to the Vidal and Mendoza family I have nothing but good memories of Sylvia, especially as young kids, when we migrated to Morgan Hill, California during the prune season I remember her pulling on the empty boxes to take to her mom and dad so they could fill them. That's going back to the late 50's. She always had a warm smile on her face ready to greet you. I didn't see her after I went to Vietnam in 1966, I was already married then and my wife lived with my Parents as we only lived two block from their home in Eloy. During my one year of service in Vietnam Sylvia and my wife became very good friends. My wife tells me that during that time Sylvia was always there to comfort and lift her up and give her words of encouragement. I never got the chance to thank her for all the kind words she gave my wife while I was in Vietnam. What a kind-hearted person she was.

As I sit thinking about all the great memories I had with my mom, the long talks on the phone, going out to dinner and her always trying to clean my room, when told not too. Her smile, her eyes, her loving care. She taught me to be independent and strong.Truly, the man upstairs has received such a beautiful angel that will watch over us as we grow. She made me into to the person I am today, a great mother and great friend just like her. I thank you mom.

I was very saddened to hear of Sylvia's passing. We met over 50 years ago when we were little kids living next door to each other in Eloy. We played, went to school, and grew up together. Sylvia was a pretty girl with gorgeous eyes, cute freckles, and a beautiful smile. A quiet and gentle spirit, she took good care of her brothers when she was young and of her parents all of their lives.
I have a very special memory of our time together. On Saturdays, when we were 13, Sylvia and I would go to every scary movie that came out and scream our lungs out. Then we would laugh and laugh some more when we walked back home. I think we needed some kind of release because most of the time we were doing chores at home and there weren't other options for us back then.
I thank Sylvia for having been a part of our lives and like to think that her mother and father are embracing her now. God bless you on your journey, Sylvia. Adios.

Dearest Sylvia,
You will be so missed by a lot of us at Vesey. I really enjoyed getting to know you and your family. I am thankful that your wish to have your grandson in my class happened before you got sick. I hope that you can rest now. I will truly miss you, but will take good care of Brian... my thoughts to all of your family!
