Wesley Joseph Lane

Wesley Joseph Lane born September 10, 1928, passed away June 17, 2012. Wes will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and in his later years for his "championship" checkers skills. Wes is survived by his son, Bill Lane; daughter, Jerrie Lynn Lane; his sister, Carol Harrington (Richard); his brothers, Larry Lane (Susan) and Leonard Lane (Rosemary) and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Audrey and Edward Lane; his children, Robert Lane, Rex Lane, Jim Lane and Wesley Lane, Jr.; his sister, Kay Black and brother, Bill Lane. His former wives, Mary Lane and Betty Lane also preceded him. Wes worked for many years as a master bricklayer in the Tucson area and many local structures stand as testaments to his masonry skills. Wes, we will miss your humor and pray for you to find peace with your Heavenly Father that eluded you so often in life. Services will be held at East Tucson Baptist Church, 9100 E. Speedway in Tucson at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012. The family asks donations be made to the Salvation Army and Casa de los Ninos in lieu of flowers. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.
