Edward "Ed" Charles McCombs, 78, passed from this life on July 12, 2021. Ed was one of six sons born to George and Helen McCombs on March 4, 1943, in Detroit, MI. Ed was married to his loving wife, Krystyna (Pawlow), for 58 years. Edward served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1969. He and Krystyna moved with their daughters to Tulsa in 1977 where he went to work for Armin Plastics. He retired from Armin Plastics and purchased AJAX Liquor Store in Tulsa. In his spare time Ed loved to golf and travel.
Edward is survived by his wife, Krystyna and his three daughters, Katherine (Kurtis) Bowman of Austin, TX, Krystyn (Troy) Schultz of Bixby, and Lynette McCombs-Green of Tulsa; his brothers, Doug, Hugh, Phil and Kent. Ed was also lovingly known as "Grumpa" to his six grandchildren, Blaine (Jessica), Brynn, Logan, Carson, Brady and Krystyna.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen and one brother, Gerry.
Memorial Mass will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, July, 24, 2021, at Church of St. Mary, 1347 E. 49th Pl., Tulsa.
