Glen Gildersleeve Obituary
Glen David Gildersleeve, 74, of Blacksburg, VA, died Tuesday May 17th. A native of Tulsa, OK, Glen is survived by his wife, Deborah Britton Gildersleeve; his sons & daughter-in-law, Nathan Gildersleeve & Estrella Johnson, and Noah Gildersleeve; his two grandsons, Trin & Milo; his brother & sister-in-law, Keith Gildersleeve & Lois Helms; his sister Jan Gildersleeve; several beloved nieces & nephews, and many friends.
Glen was a US Marine Vet, Vietnam theatre, who later worked as a computer architect in the US, Algeria, and Saudi Arabia. He was an inveterate traveler, a doting grandfather, and the patriarch of an adoring family.
The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon May 21, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the family home in Blacksburg on Shadow Lake Road. There will be a Celebration of Life later this summer, as well.
