Helen Feldman, age 94, died peacefully Friday, July 9, 2021, at the Montereau retirement community in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Helen was born November 24, 1926 to Flossie May and Charles Lawson Berryhill in Cooper, Oklahoma. Helen had one brother, Virgal, who preceded her in death. Helen married James Arthur Feldman in 1946 and they were married for 46 years until he preceded her in death. She is survived by two nieces, Pamela Berryhill and Elaine Sampson in Illinois and two nephews, Dr. James Campbell and Douglas Campbell in California. She is also survived by dear friends, Joan Van Scoyoc, Flo Mussell, and Dona Robinson in Bartlesville and Elaine McDonald in Tulsa. More recently, a little four-legged friend, Walter, visited Helen often and he will miss her special attention. Helen's daughter, Patricia Ann Feldman Rose, husband, Tony Rose and grandson, James Williams Rose live in Texas.
Helen graduated from Webb City high school and business school. She enjoyed nature, long walks, spending time with friends, being a stay-at-home mom, all her furry animals, traveling, living in Venezuela for four years, playing bridge and golf in her younger years. Helen's memberships at East Cross and Faith United Methodist churches and strong faith led her to appreciate the life the Lord had given her. She wrote "Life has been good and I wish everyone to celebrate my life and passing with joy; no sadness".
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 17th, at 2:00 pm at the Montereau Chapel in Tulsa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Restore Hope Ministries of Tulsa. https://www.tulsacremation.com
