To the family of Jim Bird --- As you
know better than I, Jim emulated the the prayer of St. Francis better than any one. He enriched my
life and many others.

Dear Jim, in 1975 our Institute in Hungary purchased vibrators from your company IVI. I was one of the lucky ones to travel to Tulsa for training course. You and your family were receiving us with warm welcome and Iquickly felt as part of your greater family. You changed my life,
carrier, you were my mentor and my adopted father. I enjoyed every
minutes of your company, your humor, your generosity. You were the
perfect Gentlemen! Thanks for everything. I will miss you!
Your friend,
Geza.

Jim, whether by astronomy or physics or spiritual course, this is a great universe because it somehow created you. Thank you for inspiring us to higher standards -- your humor, dignity, and that knowing glint will help guide the way. I look forward to crossing paths with you again. In the meantime, tell Bach to take a break and play "Oklahoma!" now and then.

To the family of Jim: I have served your dad for many years and he was always the perfect gentleman and treated everyone as royalty. His praise was very highly in regards to his wife,Margery. May we live our lives as he did with great honor to have known him.

The nearly 60 year friendship between Jim and my dad is both enviable and priceless. No matter where we all lived--in Illinois, Penna., or Tulsa, the name of Jim Bird was and always will be a part of the Flynn household. He was an admirable, curious, intelligent, and compassionate man. I'll never forget how the eagle sculpture made me cry. Jim was a great man who will always be in our hearts.

Hi, My name is Kathy and I work at IVI. Just wanted to say that Mr. Bird will be highly missed. He was a man that was loved by everybody. I remember riding in the cab of a Birdwagen one time with Mr. Bird over on Highway 169. It was a great adventure riding with him.
