Jarret, my sweet nephew, you are in my thoughts every day and will be always. The pain and tears and the absolute hurt,that we all have inside, is because we all miss you so much. But God gives us memories, and with those, he gives us laughter, and so much love and in time, he will give us peace. And with that peace comes a knowing, that we will be with you once again, only in a far better place. Jarret, you already know about that beautiful place. And when I see you again, I want one of those big hugs, like you always gave your mom. You are with me every day...My love always, Aunt Ann

Jarret, please know that I love you very much - with all my heart. Not only were you my son, you were my best friend and my world. I would love to hear your voice again (hey mom...) and to have one of your tight hugs (when you would pick me up)...I long for the day to be a Spirit In The Sky with you... Jarret, my son... Tammy & Eric,
I still think about you and your tragic loss everyday - I'm wearing my bracelet. I just wish so much that I could change all of it for you and Jarret. I hope you both know that you were great parents - you loved him and he loved you and nothing can ever change that or take that away from you. You told me you had so many wonderful memories of Jarret growing up and I pray that those memories will get you through the hard times. Know that all your family and friends love you and want to help in whatever ways we can. Take care of yourselves. We'll be in touch.

I have tried to write something in here several different times...there are no words. Just know how much we love you. Your time with Jarret was much too short and now sweet memories must fill the deep void. Always remember that you have been wonderful parents and if Jarret could have hand-picked who would raise him, he would have chosen you both. My memories of Jarrett are through my son Michael. I was reminded that we sat through basketball together. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Though I did not know Jarret, my son, Steven Thomas did. This has devestated Steven. His friends mean the world to him.
