Joan L. Moore

MOORE - Joan L., born September 10, 1927 and passed Saturday, June 23, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hop and Thelma Sechrest. Joan was a 1945 graduate of Tulsa Central High School, and attended the University of Kentucky. Married in 1947, to Jimmie H. Moore. Survived by: brother, Ed Sechrest and wife, Wanda of Russellville, AR; 3 children, her daughter, Jan Bohne and husband, Eric; sons, Steven Moore and Richard Moore; 2 granddaughters, Jessica and husband, Casey Wills, Jennifer and husband, Dean Drake; 2 great-grandchildren, Allison Wills and Kale Drake, all of Tulsa. Joan retired after 15000 hours of volunteer services with St. John Medical Center Auxiliary. She was a was a charter member of Lazy L. Garden Club and was a member of The Beacon Class of First United Methodist Church. She will be truly missed by all of her family and friends. Service is 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, at the St. James United Methodist Church, with private family interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
