John Robert Bell

July 25, 1940 - May 25, 2025

John Robert Bell, 84, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on May 25, 2025. Born in Tulsa on July 25, 1940, to David John and Hazel Bell, after high school he served in the United States Navy. John, retired as Vice President of Operations at Electrical Power Systems, Inc. He volunteered with the Tulsa Police Reserve for 42 years. He also held leadership roles in soccer organizations across Oklahoma. In retirement, he worked as a bus driver and trainer for Jenks Public Schools. John is survived by his wife, Bonnie Bell; daughter, Radonda Shipman and husband, Bobby Shipman, kids, Logan and Paige; son, Derek Bell and wife Laura Bell, kids Keeley and Kian; son, Brandon Bell and wife Susan Bell; step-daughter, Abigail and Brian Perott, kids Braxton and Allie; step-daughter, Cynthia and Keith Jones, kids Madeline and Sophie; and his sister, Sandra Bell. He was preceded in death by brothers, James, and David Bell, and his half-brothers, Lon and Gerald Connor. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 26, at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 1420 Dewey Ave, Sapulpa, OK 74066.
