One of my favorite stories about Linda happened in college when her room was directly above mine. I was "campused" and Linda being such a dear friend decided to sneak some goodies to me. She had introduced me to a combination of Little Debbie´s oatmeal creme pies and Dr. Pepper. I heard a tapping on my window and looked out to see a rope attached to a broom, to which she had attached a pack of Little Debbie´s, and then a can of Dr. Pepper.
Another time, Linda and several of us dorm supervisors decided to make a batch of brownies for some of the guy dorm supervisors who had pelted us with snowballs. (What the guys didn´t know was that the brownies were enhanced with Exlax). She added joy and laughter to some stressful timesPraying for comfort for her family.

I remember her sweet spirit when we were at Bible college together. She taught me about indoor plant care. We sang in the choir together, talked on walks, sang in the dorm. I loved going with her and her sister Cyndi a couple of different times to their home in Tulsa, helping to make Thanksgiving dinner, riding around Tulsa in a little convertible sports car. It was with the White sisters that I saw "Gone with the Wind" for the first time in a theater on a big screen. (Nov 1974?) Precious memories. Love you, White family.

Linda was the best college roommate I could´ve had. She was kind, generous, sensitive and so thoughtful. Many times when she visited her family in Tulsa she took all of my laundry with her and brought it back laundered and so carefully folded. That meant the world to me as I never expected it nor asked her to do it. I saw Linda a few years ago when she came to Phoenix to visit her daughter. It did my heart so much good to have heartfelt talks and time to reminisce on our college experiences. I´m so sad that she´s had dementia that has taken her from her family and daughters far too early. Charlotte and Cyndi, you´re still in my heart and memories. Sending you lots of love!
