Lori McWilliams Obituary

Lori Ann Leos McWilliams

Jun 2, 1963 - Nov 20, 2025

Lori Ann McWilliams, 62, passed away peacefully on Nov. 20, 2025. She was born in Tulsa on June 2, 1963, and resided here most of her life. She was an avid dog lover of two black lab-mix pups, Jett and Evan, who predeceased her. They are looking forward to long, heavenly walks (with that infamous red leash).

Lori attended Barnard Elementary and graduated from Monte Cassino – Class of 1981. She played tennis and was a member of the MC high school team, loved her teammates, and enjoyed friendly teasing with long-time coach, Mrs. Kate Cushing. During her high school years she was employed at Harold's Clothing Store, always wearing the latest fashion - even green Cole-Haan loafers! After high school Lori attended the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa Community College, and Oklahoma State University (while working at Eskimo Joe's). After returning to Tulsa, she was employed by Tulsa Day Schools for more than four years. Following that she became Director of Child Time Day Care.

Lori married in May 1998; the marriage ended 11 years later. She quit working full-time but continued as a volunteer for Emergency Infant Services. Adjusting to single life and a diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes and serious neurovascular surgery, she rallied with faith and determination to share her talent and energy with others. Lori joined the staff at Trinity Woods Senior Community in November 2022 and was still an active employee at the time of her unexpected loss. She loved creating small holiday gifts for her coworkers. A compliment from her Supervisor: "Lori brightened my day every morning upon her arrival."

She loved her family and friends and will be missed by many. She is survived by her parents Steve, Jr. and Connie Leos; brother Tim Leos and wife Sandy; loving aunt and uncle, cousins, nieces, and nephews: Taylor Howard, Lindsey Howard-Jourdan (Vladimir), Carson Howard (fiancé Kaili Fuller), and Quinn Leos. She was preceded in death by grandparents James and Dot Burrow and by Steve, Sr. and Hope Leos.

Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, December 13th, at 10:00 AM, Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 9101 S. Harvard Ave., Tulsa.

Friends may honor Lori with donations to: Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, 200 South Park Road, Ste 100, Hollywood, FL 33021.

I have many fond memories of Lori, most notably her teaching me to shave my legs! I recall her being so pretty and funny! May the memory of her be a blessing to all. I know Jesus has welcomed Lori with open arms. He will hold her fast.

Dear Leo´s. I´m so very sorry for your loss. Lori was a good friend back in the Monte Cassino days. I remember my first day walking in to science class and I knew we were going to be friends.
