Mary Lou (Saunders) Black

Mary Lou (Saunders) Black, 91, passed away October 11, 2022, A.D. in Tulsa, OK. Born June 19,1931 A.D. in Burford Township, Williams County, North Dakota to Charles Woodson and Eliza Jane (King) Saunders. She loved her family and her Lord Jesus Christ. Member of First Baptist Church of Tulsa. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, William A. Black; her parents and five older siblings. She was the last of a generation. Survived by sons: Brad and wife, Judith Black of Santa Fe, NM; Ken and wife, Stacy Black of Houston, TX; and daughter, Susan and husband, Tom Golliver of Tulsa, OK; eight grandchildren: Allison (husband Dave), Meredith (husband Roger), Reid (wife Alexis), Rebecca (husband Travis), Ross (wife Jessica), Lauren (husband Alex), Sean, and Colin; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 12:00 PM, Monday, October 24, 2022, at Asbury Church – Mason Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Charles Woodson & Eliza Jane Saunders Family Scholarship Endowment Fund at Williston State College Foundation, P.O. Box 1286, Williston, ND 58802 or donate online at www.willistonstate.edu in memory of Mary Lou Saunders Black and include name of scholarship in the comment box.
