Pam was a friend. She was our Science Administrator at Union Public Schools and I taught fourth grade science. Pam had meetings for the elementary teachers once a month, for any who wanted to come. She shared experiments and gave us ideas about how to make science exciting. She nominated me for The Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Teaching, and believed I would win, and I did. She was a fantastic teacher and planner. She invited me to go with her and her students to Colorado for a fun learning experience. She joined Kappa Kappa Iota , an association for teachers to support and give scholarships to teachers and students going into teaching.
There will never be another friend and teacher like Pam. She will be missed.
