It is with great sadness that we share the loss of Patricia Ann Hauglund (Lamoreaux), who passed through the veil to her eternal home on December 24, 2020. Patricia was born October 16, 1956, in St. Anthony, Idaho.
Patti was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Orien and Hazel Lamoreaux; brother, Don Lamoreaux, and brother-in-law, Jeff Hiram. She is survived by her husband, Loren Hauglund; daughter, Jessica Hendricks; sons, Benjamin and Matthew Hauglund; grandchildren, Raina and Ian Hendricks; siblings, Gene Lamoreaux, Darliene Thompson, Betty Berry, and Sue Hiram.
In 1981 she was living in Tulsa, when she met Loren at church on a bright Sunday morning and both knew almost immediately that the stars had aligned for their eternal happiness together. They were married for time and eternity on July 15, 1981, in the St. George, Utah, temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She considered her beloved children and grandchildren to be gifts from God and she loved, taught and protected them throughout her life.
Our hearts mourn but we are comforted by our testimony of the eternal nature of life and families. Patti would wish that our memories of her bring us smiles, fill our hearts with joyous anticipation for the sweet reunions that await us, and inspire us to be kind and loving towards one another.
