Peggy Wayne Obituary
March 14, 1933 - June 5, 2024
Dr. Peggy "PJ" Joyce Wayne entered the presence of the Lord on June 5, 2024. Born in 1933, PJ blessed her family and friends with 91 years of love, compassion, and equanimity.
PJ is rejoicing in Heaven with her husband Warren, daughter Linda, and all the family and friends that have gone before. She is survived by her son, David Wayne, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Dr. Wayne was a professor of microbiology and immunology at ORU for 25 years. After retiring in 1997, she became certified in Christian-based counseling, her true passion. She was a woman of great faith and spread the love of God to everyone she encountered.
May her memory and the lessons she taught live on through those who knew her.

There will be a memorial in her honor at 10am on Saturday, June 29 at Morada Retirement Center in Broken Arrow, OK.
