Randal Dikeman Obituary

Randal "Randy" Lee Dikeman, age 72, of Grand Lake Town, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on October 5, 2025. He was born on January 23, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas, to Jack W. and Doris Daniels Dikeman.

Randy was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Nathan Hale High School and went on to attend Oklahoma State University. Known for his kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need, Randy was loved by all who knew him.

Randy was a hardworking and talented man who built a successful career in the foundation repair industry. He owned his own business, Atlas Piers, from 1990 to 2001, and later continued his work with Atlas Systems and Foundation Support Works, from which he retired several years ago. His dedication, skill, and honesty earned him deep respect from colleagues and customers alike.

A man of many passions, Randy loved his boat and life on Grand Lake, where he found peace and joy in the water and the company of friends and family. He was also a fantastic guitar player with a lifelong love of music. An avid dog lover and a master wood craftsman, Randy poured his heart into everything he created and everyone he cared for. In his younger days, he also enjoyed playing soccer and riding his bike - hobbies that reflected his energetic and adventurous spirit.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Doris Dikeman, and his brother, Terry L. Dikeman. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Mullally and her husband Ryan of Bartlesville, and January Smoot and her husband Cameron of Bartlesville; his grandsons, Brandon and Ryan Schnelle; his sister-in-law, Lucy Gunn-Dikeman; niece Khalin Higgins and her husband Brian, and their children, Noah and Madison; and nephew Cory Dikeman and his wife Shannon.

The family will honor his memory with a Celebration of Life gathering at his home on Grand Lake at a later date.

Randy's kindness, humor, craftsmanship, and love of life touched many people, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

I met Randy about the 5th grade and we became best friends for many years. He lived down the street for a short time while their home in Longview was being built. He Ron Hensley and I ran together in high school and college until married life took us in other directions. I´m glad he got to spend his final years at Grand Lake. We made many trips to Tenkiller in our teenage years and early 20´s. Lot of good times and stories.

I´ve known Randy since grade school at Fulton Elementary school, and Skelly Junior high and also Hale High school in Tulsa. In 1973 during the OSU Christmas break Randy and Steve Clyburn and myself went to snow skiing at Steamboat Springs Colorado. Randy and Steve had both snow ski before and I had not. I was terrible however after a couple of days I was moving a little bit better on the skis. Ron Hensley!!

Randy was a good friend of mine starting from junior high and throughout high school at Nathan Hale. We were in competing GarageBands on S. 88th E. Ave. in our neighborhood and he, Steve and Ron were always much better than my little band. He was a good man and a friend and will be missed.
