Mom was born on October 21, 1925 in Oklahoma City to Mary and Monroe Parker (deceased); died on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, in Tulsa where she lived and cared for her own needs. She graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in Wichita, KS. Married Nelson Keith Parrett on October 21, 1947. He died February 3, 1978. She was pre-deceased on April 18, 2009 by her second son, Stephen. Surviving children include Jim, Greg and daughter, Theresa Parrett; also granddaughters and spouses, Brandi Parrett, Meggan Warfel (Scott), Miranda Meadours (Thomas) and Toni Smith (Ryan); eight great grandchildren. Worked at St. John's Hospital where pre-school 2 and 3 year old children felt her loving care. Rosemary was an accomplished water color artist, greeting card giver and baker. She loved all things outdoors to include birds and flowers. She worked compassionately as a sacristan (altar server) for many years and was affectionately known as 'the church mouse'!

Rosie gave warm compliments to those she met. Her friends and family will sorely miss her ever delicious home baked cookies and loving personality.

Rosemary was a long time friend and art student. She was one of my first students and we remained friend since. She was a wonderful person and a dedicated artist. We exchanged Christmas cards every year and hers were always special and always original. I am grateful that she was a part of my life. I will always have fond memories of Rosemary. What a special lady!
