Charleen Morris Obituary

TUSCALOOSA - Charleen C. Morris, age 68, of Tuscaloosa, died January 27, 2017, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 6 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2017, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with James Headley officiating. Visitation will be from 4 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Milledine Cheatham.
Survivors include her husband, William A. Morris of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; son, William C. Morris (Shannon) of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; daughter, Gwendolyn Norton (Michael), all of Tampa, Fla. and one granddaughter, Savannah L. Morris of Northport Ala.
Charleen was a great woman who loved the Lord and loved to serve others. She was a children's department leader for several churches she knew and loved all the families. She battled cancer and many physical issues from breast cancer to heart problems, but none kept her away from serving Jesus.
