David Parmatier Obituary

NORTHPORT David Michael Parmatier, age 52, of Northport, died Thursday, May 19, 2011, at home. Services will be 3 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011, at Norwood Chapel in Fayette. Burial will follow in the Sand Springs Cemetery with Norwood Chapel of Fayette directing. The family will receive friends Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

David was born March 3, 1959, in Saratoga Springs, New York. He was a resident of the Carroll's Creek community in Northport for the past ten years and was a member of the Daystar Family Church. He was formerly employed as an EMT and was retired from EMS.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Murray Dale Hubbert, Alice Reed Lewis, and Frank C. Lewis.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Hopson Parmatier of Northport; three daughters, Amber (Kevin) McDonald of Crossville, Rebecca Parmatier of Tuscaloosa, and Erika Potts of Northport; his parents, James M. Hubbert, Sr. and Cynthia Lewis Hubbert of Fayette; one sister, Sonja Hubbert of New York; two brothers, Thomas Hubbert (Emily) of Saltillo, Miss. and James M. Hubbert, Jr. (Lisa) of Johns Creek, Ga.; one grandchild, Emma Lee; his grandmother, Mattie Irene Hubbert of Fayette; and father-in-law, Edwin Hopson of Fayette.
