Jennifer Hamby Obituary
She was preceded in death by her mother, Connie Fitts; father, Earl Fitts; and grandmother, Thelma Stump.
Survivors include her husband, Wesley Hamby of Northport; daughter, Abbey Smith of Dickson, Tenn.; son, Joshua Hamby of Northport; sisters, Mollie Slaybaugh of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Amy Raines of Nashville, Tenn.; uncle, Billy Fitts of Nashville, Tenn.; and grandfather, Charles Stump.
Jennifer was a native of Nashville, Tenn. She moved to Northport with her husband Wesley, a native of Gadsden. Jennifer was an active member of First United Methodist Church. She struggled with many health problems for many years.
Honorary pallbearers are the Seekers Sunday School class of First United Methodist Church, Gary and Revel Marlow and family, many personal friends of her church and subdivision, Dr. Gary Newsome, Dr. Jeanie Lipscomb, and the C&S Department of Norfolk Southern Railroad.

Mollie & Amy,
I'm so very sorry to hear about Jenny.We all go back many years. Nan told me that she had been in poor health. Jenny is now pain free and with your parents and Grandma. My heart goes out to you girls , Wes and kids. Love ya ,LeeAnn

My prayers are with your family in your time of sorrow. I know you can find a bit of comfort in knowing that she is walking with Jesus, free of pain and illness, but that doesn't fill the ache of empty arms. Turn to the Lord and he will sustain you when you don't think you can take any more.
I am really sorry that I didn't have a chance to spend time with Jennifer, I am poorer for that missed opportunity.
