One sunny afternoon Dr. Holder, Billy Holyfield and I went to the reservoir outside of Conway to look for four leaf clovers. We all found one!

Dr. Holder was one of those rare college professors who got to know her students and their strengths and weaknesses. She guided each of us to a professional path that matched our uniqueness and led us to help those folks with disabilities with their unique needs. We kept in contact after college as I built my career. The last time I saw her was in the late seventies when she and "Charlie" Brown were in NW Arkansas, and invited my husband and I to dinner. Charlie Brown grilled steaks outside their motel room, and we had a wonderful visit and dinner on a card table in their room!
