I had the distinct honor to have met and spent a little time with Mrs. Phylllis and Mr. Phillip. Absolutely amazing people. I have never met two more resilient people who every time I saw and talked with them were positive and encouraging, no matter the circumstance. Love and prayers ❤

What a special person Phyllis was. She had the God Given gift of making you feel better just being around her. Very supportive, always full of laughter and willing to share her stories for the benefit of others. The world has lost a special person and she will be missed.

Phyllis was more than a cousin to us, she was more like an Aunt, and other Mom to Rebekah. She would make you smile and laugh till you hurt. She took Rebekah in and treated her as her own daughter her 1st year at Alabama. We will miss her so much, but know that she is rejoicing being back with Phillip and Kevin in Heaven. I read this earlier and it pretty much summed up how we feel, " Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not.". She had a love of anything with angels. Now she is among them and the prettiest, funniest angel of all. Love you and will miss you so much!!

Jennifer, my heart is broken to hear about your mom. She was such a beautiful, caring woman whom I loved dearly. Her heart radiated through her smile, and her friendship was unconditional to us all.
