Alfred STENDE

1934 - 2021

8-20-1934 – 1-26-2021 Peacefully passed at the age of 86 on January 26, 2021. Al grew up in Ulen, Minnesota and then served in the U.S. Army. He worked at the USG plant in St. Paul for 40 years and was a proud grandfather to Corey Detomaso. Al is survived by granddaughter, Deanna Detomaso, brother Arnold Stende, nieces Cathy Stende and Wanda Stende and nephew Jerry Stende. Also, special friends Paul Mordh, Karri Creamer, Rosalyn Brooks and many others. He was known for his acts of kindness and was always willing to help others. A special thank you to all the staff at Fresenius Kidney Care at the East Side Dialysis Center. A private interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
