Brigid Ann "Bridie" O'LEARY

Age 78, Of Tucson, AZ Formerly of White Bear Lake Passed away on Sunday June 22, 2014. Born in County Clare Ireland, Bridie immigrated as a young adult to the US, where she married and began a family in WBL. Bridie and her family moved to Tucson, Az in 1971, but her ties to Minnesota remained strong. After her first marriage ended, Bridie met the love of her life, Dick Rooney. They enjoyed many summers traveling back to Minnesota in their motorhome. Bridie adored her friends and all were welcomed in her home. Many good times were shared when Bridie and Dick entertained. In time many of her Minnesota friends would vacation in Tucson, deepening already strong friendships. Bridie is preceeded in death by her son Sean. She is deeply missed by her family, especially her children, Emmett O'Leary, Kevin O'Leary and Maura O'Leary. Funeral services will be held at St Pius Church, White Bear Lake at 9am on July 26th, followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights. A reception celebrating Bridie's life will take place in White Bear Lake following burial.
