Cathy Jane DenBoer

Age 73 of Saint Paul, MN Passed away Monday, August 7, 2023 in the presence of family. She is preceded in death by parents Vernon and Shirley Nygren; husband Randall Pederson; and sister Roxanne Sventek. She is survived by sister Joyce Wikner; brother Paul (Peggy) Nygren; identical twin daughters Johanna (Ryan) Anderson and Alison (Jeremy) Aebly; her beloved grandchildren Ronin, Keira, Ellia, Gunnar, Adrianna; and partner of many years, Carl Wetterhahn. She was proud to be the fun Aunt, and was loved by her nieces and nephews, many of whom came to be with her in her final days. Cathy was a longtime and proud resident of the Midway area of Saint Paul. She was an original hippie, loved reading, music and court television. A celebration of life will be held at Gethsemane Lutheran Church on Wednesday, August 16 at 2410 Stillwater Rd E., Maplewood, MN 55119. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. with a service at 2:00 p.m. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to the family.
