Survived by wife Laura Jaworski Cochrane; son, Michael Jaworski Cochrane; loving siblings Sally Cochrane & Deb France, Eddie McDonald, spouse & child, Richard "Dick" & Kathy Cochrane, Kaitie, Sarah, spouses & children, Alison Cochrane, Elizabeth "Bit" Cochrane; cherished in-laws, the Jaworski family Raynelda, Becky, Debbie, Jennifer & Terry (Hansen) Cassie, Gabrielle, spouses & child, Katrina, Tammy, Matt & Kelly, John, Adrian & Sheri, Maria & Spencer, Stephanie & Orville (King), Mark & Lori (Cloutier); trusted friend and colleague, Beth Tetzlaff. In his last hours, Chuck frequently mentioned how thankful he was for friends and family that provided prayers and support. He expressed his gratitude for the compassionate and honest care given by the staff at the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute. His family has the highest respect and admiration for the amazing care team at Our Lady of Peace Hospice. Chuck's life of service was evidenced by his desire to help injured workers' through his law practice, as well as his many volunteer activities. His many avocations included Destination Imagination, Roseville Youth Basketball, St. John's Men's Club, Feed My Starving Children, Sheridan Story, Bridging, the Minnesota adopt a storm drain and the Aliveness Project, just to name a few. Chuck was a voracious reader, passionate about the north shore of Lake Superior, the Green Bay Packers, the MN State Fair and music of all kinds, especially the Grateful Dead. But his greatest joy in life was becoming a father to Michael. He was an amazing husband, father, friend, and person. He will be sorely missed but after a three-month battle with bile duct cancer the angels are singing to welcome him home. A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at the Church of St. Jerome. Memorials to Simpson Housing Services (https://www.simpsonhousing .org/) or The 30 Day Foundation (https://www.the30-daysfoundation. org/) are appreciated. I just found out that Chuck passed away. I am saddened by this news. Chuck was an excellent advocate for his clients. I saw his skills firsthand on a number of cases in which I was opposing counsel. Chuck was not only a skilled attorney, but also a good person all around. He always had time to chat. We need more people like Chuck in this world. My condolences to his family during this difficult time. Farewell and Rest in Peace, Chuck. You're home.

I heard about Chuck through Ed Anderson and I knew Chuck from the Lake Nebagemon Y Camp. One of my memories: the camp staff was asked to participate in a Fourth of July parade, we all square danced the whole route, and he and I were partners! I see his smile and twinkle in his eyes never changed.
May God´s goodness cover you in the days to come as you remember this always positive, caring and adventurous Chuck.

I knew Chuck through the legal profession; he was one of my top attorneys to refer cases to because I knew he would take care of clients better than just about anyone. I am so sorry for your loss - he was a wonderful person. All my best to your family.

All my sympathies to Chucks family. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a good man and an awesome attorney. I was one of his recent clients who also had cancer. He saw me through my case and through my illness and treatment and for that I will always be grateful to him. I mourn for his loss with you.

Chuck you are missed. From Chuck´s support of the St. John the Evangelist Men´s Club Turkey bingo to the care he gave to the blending of the pancake mix. At most events Chuck worked as the main server so could provided the guests that he knew with friendly banter. His special treatment for all customers from the very young to very old was something we all could learn from. Chuck always spoke so high of his son Michael and shared stories of his trips to visit him. Chuck´s stories were always entertaining to listen to. The fundraising events never really started until Chuck showed up. Chuck was one of those special people that anyone that got to know him were proud to call him a friend. Our hearts and prayers go out to the entire Cochrane family with especial thoughts and prayers for his wife Laura and son Michael. Brian and Ann Bentler

Laura and Mike, so sorry to hear about Chuck. All of my years at St. Johns, he was one of the finest gentleman around. From coaching to his endless hours of time spent with the Men's club. Of course his generous donatiion of the turkeys for bingo made my job of AD easy, due to the money raised from the event. He was one in a million in my eyes. Duane

You were always a gentleman, always gracious and always a fine advocate for your clients. We were on the opposite side in many cases. You will be missed, but not forgotten. Rest In Peace, Chuck.
