Dear Anita, Kathy, Terry, Molly and Chris: I still find it hard to believe that your father has been gone for a year already. We had a good relationship back when we were younger. He was a great Godfather to me. Hope you all are doing well.

Dear Anita & Kathy,

I am not even sure that you remember me but my sister Ann told me about the passing of your dad. I still remember stopping in and paying tribute and seeing both of you at your mom's wake. It was so good seeing both of you. I am so sorry for the loss of your dad and know that all your fond memories of him will always keep him in your heart. Would love to hear from you guys sometime and hear how you are doing. It was so many years ago that we were in grade school together but I have never forgotten you guys. Gosh, our 45th high school reunion is this year. Where does the time go?

Take care!

Dear Anita..sorry to hear about your fathers death. I was planning on attending the funeral so I could say hello to you but our daughter delivered a baby on that day and I had babysitting duty for the rest of her children. Hope I can see you sometime in the near future!

A life well-lived indeed!! I too remember fondly the year Charles & Marilyn arrived with the air boat, and the dash across Clam Lake with our pontoon boat. My condolences to the family. Marianne Tautges

I will always have great memories of times spent with "uncle" Charles! He was always upbeat and an intriguing man to converse with, so full of knowledge on so many subjects!
God's speed Charles! Also blessings to the rest of the Cox family.

So many memories of Charles and Marilyn and the family. I am writing on behalf of the Bob and Dolores Tautges family from Paul, Mary Helen, Diane and Rob, spouses and family. The Tautges-Pitzen families were related. One of our memories include the air boat you brought up to Tom Tautges cabin in Siren, WI! Our sympathy to all of you. Marilyn was so beautiful, sweet and kind. Charles I remember as such an engaging man with a winning smile. You were blessed with wonderful parents and grandparents.

My sympathy to the family of Charlie Cox, a wonderful guy who in my experience with him had a real zest for life. He was a delight to play golf with and he was pretty good at it also. Charlie always impressed me with his interest in so many different activities. His generation were and still are the most fasinating people and Charlie was one of those great characters.
With symathy to all who survive him,

Terry, Chris and family,

Just wanted to send best wishes as you gather to celebrate your father's life. My days at Context Corporation were filled with amazing experiences and memories of lots of good people. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I always felt welcome in Charles' home. Often with a glass of wine in hand, Charles made drinking look elegant -- like the suave, debonair gentlemen on the daytime soaps.

I always learned something new from Charles whenever I spoke with him. He had the formula for Trivial Pursuit even before the game was invented.

Who can forget Charles driving Chris to school in the Cobra? Every kid on the playground did a double-take.

C.C. Cox: fountain of knowledge, God-fearing conservative, and all-around cool guy.

We were saddened to hear the news. The few times I visited with Charles I was impressed with his knowledge of politics and current events. I also remember the case of "Old Plaid Scotch" I acquired from him for a friend. Charles and Marilyn were a "Classy" couple. God bless you all.
