Craig was a dedicated friend to my mother, Virginia Coats. He would telephone her every week or two with a cheerful update of his life. My mother looked forward to hearing from Craig. Before Craig moved, Mom was having more and more trouble negotiating her days and her mind. Craig's simple conversations were a real source of pleasure and socialization for Mom. As for myself, Craig had a wonderful smile as a youngster. The memory of that smile is a cherful little ray of sunshine that will always bring a smile to my own lips.
