Dave was a wonderful husband, friend and my own personal cheerleader. My favorite memories of Dave are asking him, "if we knocked down that wall ..." and he would roll his eyes and before you knew it....we had a plan and completely changed a room. There was nothing Dave couldn't do. He could fix wiring, general construction of all kinds, plumbing, work on cars, build and tear down walls, sheetrock, roofing. I could go on and on. He also enjoyed cooking and made an unbelievable chili and great hot wings for Sunday football games and hockey tournaments! He loved our animals and often was seen retrieving ducklings from the storm drains when they fell in one after another and the mother duck let everyone know she was unhappy about the predicament of her babies! Dave was a good man with a gentle soul, a good husband and a good friend. He will be incredibly missed.

I would like to pass on my condolences to the Lehmann family and the rest of Dave’s loved ones. I have many good memories of Dave. He was always so kind to me growing up and I kind of thought of him as a brother during my high school years. I will keep those memories close to my heart.

I can't believe Dave is gone. The world is a lesser place, but heaven is greater one. My deepest sympathy to those who loved him...you will be in my prayers. I have nothing but the best memories of Dave. He listened to me whine more than once back in high school. I hadn't seen him in years, but thought of him often (everytime I saw a City of WSP truck). The last time I talked to him was 12+ year ago when my boyfriend found his checkbook on the ground outside the Cellar...it was a fun fluke. I will never forget his gentle strength.

My deepest sympathies to Dave's family. I have wonderful memories of Dave and our times together. He was a gifted athlete and had a great sense of humor. I remember one time he let me ride his dirt bike. It was the first time I had ever ridden a motorcycle. We were up on a hill and I took off down the hill. I started to lose control and was falling off, my hand pulling the throttle back making the bike go faster as it dragged me. Finally I let go and the bike crashed ahead of me. I was so worried that Dave would be mad about his bike, but he came running down the hill laughing hysterically. He thought that was great entertainment. We had many great times together and I will miss him very much.

I have nothing but the best memories of Dave and growing up together. From playing golf and tennis, to motorcycle rides and road trips, to sitting in "Jerry's Cafe' and talking about life. Recently, it was always great to run into him on the streets of WSP and have a quick catch-up talk. My regards to his Dad (a great guy) and Mike and Terry.
