Deb was one of the nurses who took care of my mother during her stay at Lake Ridge. My sister, Lois, especially, would get to know the staff, so I then did also. When Deb learned that my mother would sometimes make an ancestral meal called Ox Tail Soup, Deb figured it out, and made a batch for Mom. It turned out that Deb and I shared a birthday, April 24th, so I would call her that day or the next until I got in touch with her to wish her a happy birthday, and we would talk for a while (Deb usually kept the conversation going). I was saddened when I found out why she did not answer the phone this year.

Writing on behalf of my brother John Schultz who worked with Debbie at Lake Ridge for many years. He was heart broken to hear the news of her passing and will be there to honor her memory.

Deb had an infectious laugh and personality. The many nights of Uno, and just having a lot of fun, will forever be remembered. We will miss her greatly.
