To the Banham family, I still think about Lieutenant Banham, the lessons he taught me, the support as well as the encouragement he gave me, helped me to achieve my goals of a college degree and working with youth in corrections.
I recently retired and I feel a debt to Lt. Banham that I can never repay but I'll always think of him because he was truly an inspiration in my life.
Blessings to Lt. Banham and the Banham Family
Sincerely Tom

My condolences to the Banham family.
While attending the University of Minnesota, I was able to obtain a student job working as a Security Monitor for the University of Minnesota Police Department. I was blessed to be able to share the Police Dispatch area with Lt. Banham.
I recall a conversation where I told him that I wanted to take a break from attending college. His words of encouragement, respect and inspiration helped me to stay the course and graduate from the University of Minnesota. For over twenty years I've been working with troubled youth as a Probation Officer. I owe a lot of my success to Lt Donald Banham. He was one of kind.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Banham family.
