Red and Geri were my God parents and the picture is of Red and my father on hockey team as young boys.

My husband worked Cooch at Donaldsons Inc in Baldwin WI for many years. Cooch was a great man, the stories he'd tell, the laughs between the guy's and the pranks.
We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Donald (`RED´) Cocchiarella was one of my favorite extended Donovan & Richie family members, as a lovely and caring Uncle to me. His "ear to ear smile" and magnetic personality and humor energy was most certainly one of a kind. I had the privilege and blessing to visit with Red last month visit two my brothers Patrick and Daniel. He shared great stories and memories of his life, Familia, marriage to Geri, children, grandkids and great grandkids, as well as his lifelong long and friendship with my parents Dan & Bena. I told him he was always like a Hollywood Movie Star to me and my favorite Uncle. He played Geri´s organ for us and we sang Amazing Grace and The Green Green Grass of Home together. Heaven couldn´t wait any longer for Red and neither could my parents. My love and deepest condolences from the center of my heart to Michael, Michele, Pollyanna and Red´s entire family during this time of reflection and beyond.

Donald "Red" Cocchiarella was my favorite extended Donovan & Richie family members, and similar to being one of my favorite Uncles, and Family Godfather. His "ear to ear smile", magnetic personality, energy, and humor was unquestionably one of a kind. I had the privilege and blessing to visit with Red last month with two of my brothers, Patrick and Daniel, Jr.. Red shared heartfelt stories, great laughs with us and his wonderful memories of his life, Italian Familia Heritage, his marriage to Geri, children, grandkids, great grandkids, as well as his lifelong love and friendship with my parents Dan & Bena Donovan. I told him he was always like a Hollywood Movie Star to me and one of my favorite Uncles. He played Geri´s organ for us and we sang Amazing Grace and The Green Green Grass of Home together. Heaven couldn´t wait any longer for Red. The Pride of the East Side Italian-Irish-Americans, continue to build the cornerstone of our faith in the Kingdom of Heaven and everlasting Peace.

Our love, support and deepest condolences from the center of my heart to Michael, Michele, Pollyanna and Red´s entire family during this time of reflection and beyond.
